a Ghost of the Phoenix in Cassiopeia
Known as the ghost Nebula in Cassiopeia, IC59 and IC63 look like a phoenix with a long tail on a larger scale. The red cloud forming this shape mainly comes from the red point H-alpha light. And all the Ha red clouds come from the brightest star in the pictureThis picture is a composite picture of HaRGB. The total exposure time is about 29.6 hours. This photo was taken in November, 2021 at the remote observatory in Jiuliancheng Town, Hebei Province, China. My equipment: SharpStar FRA 600/5.6 APO with 0.72 Reducer, ASI ZWO 6200 MM, Paramount MX mount and Astrodon LRGB and 3nm HSO filter.
